I am a graduate of St. Thomas Law School and have been practicing law since 1996. I received the highest scholastic honors in Law School in both Corporations and Ethics, known as the Book Award.  I've also served the legal community of Miami Lakes, Florida as a founding member and secretary of the Miami Lakes Bar Association.  I continue to support the Miami Lakes Bar Association by participating in local event and serving on a recent panel on the State of Immigration in 2018.

Since I opened my practice in Miami Lakes in 2001, I've dedicated myself to serving immigrants and injured workers.  In an effort to give back to the community, I volunteer with the Cuban American Bar Association and assist low income immigrants before the Immigration and Family courts in Miami-Dade and Broward County.  I have been an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association since 1999, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and Phi Alpha Delta.

I’m a proud alumni of St. Thomas University, School of Law where I earned my Juris Doctor degree and Florida International University where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems. I also currently serve the legal community as a member of the 2018 Board of Directors for the Miami Lakes Bar Association.

I was born and raised in South Florida and I started my legal career with Keiser University in Academia. I served as faculty member, Associate Dean, and ultimately as the Dean of Academic Affairs for the Pembroke Pines campus, as the Chief Academic Officer for the Pembroke Pines campus. I enjoyed this administrative role for many years and I continue to teach as a full time online legal instructor for Keiser University.

As a Legal Professor, I am given the opportunity to mold young legal minds and the future generation of legal scholars. However, my passion has always been in the courtroom helping clients and I discovered this passion while interning at Dade Legal Aid. I achieved the Book Award honors while interning at Dade Legal Aid, which is a testament to my dedication to family law related matters. I am now pursuing my goal as a Family Law Attorney in the Town of Miami Lakes.
